Talent: Tyler has been considered the best at his position. The SDSU staff decided that given his talent he would not be allowed to play with the regular defense despite his honors out of high school and athleticism.
Character: Known to be a "great kid and hard worker." Passed on a scholarship to Duke to attend SDSU.
